Description
You as VVG
The particular and unusual reality of the pandemic has affected us all. Whether it be on a physical or psychological level. To address the expression of an inner feeling, its intensity, I thought of Vincent Van Gogh as the main figure in painting. By advocating a greater expression of inner feeling in his paintings, Vincent Van Gogh and others (Kokoschka and Edvard Munch) were the precursors of expressionism. I wanted to address the representation of our vulnerability, not in a textured relationship in the representation as the expressionists could do, but rather through a symbolic portrait in the image of this expression.
